Our client is a creative digital agency in New York and we are currently helping them to find a Director/VP Business Development. This is an opportunity for a strategic and entrepreneurial individual to set in place and drive the business development strategy for the agency. The agency has a collaborative work environment and a open culture.
Responsibilities:
The Head of Business development will set the business development strategy for the agency and will manage a Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager. He or she will manage inbound responsibilities as well as identify new client opportunities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of business development experience across different client categories. A particular depth of expertise and focus on digital products, social media and brand experiences is required. Digital agency experience is essential. A solid rolodex, a strategic mindset and the ability to build long term relationships is essential for this role. Solid writing skills and the ability to write compelling proposals is needed.
