User Acquisition Manager – Award Winning Mobile Game Startup

Our client is an award winning social gaming company that develops mobile games. Their most recent game was a huge success and accumulated 100 million users worldwide. With the upcoming launch of the sequel to their mobile game, they are looking for a user acquisition manager who can drive new users to this newly created mobile game and will be responsible for growing their mobile user base and driving traffic through paid advertising. This person will need to have an analytical way of thinking to provide insight into mobile trends and strategize campaign adjustments to increase the audience. The candidate will think outside of the box to uncover new means to capitalize on untapped sources of traffic and should have user acquisition experience in a mobile, startup, games, social or app related company.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand our client’s mobile user base and drive traffic through paid advertising on Facebook and other web based platforms such as Twitter, iAds, Chartboost and more
  • Look at data metrics and provide analytical insight into mobile trends to strategize any adjustments to increase the audience
  • Uncover creative and non-traditional means to capitalize on untapped sources of traffic
  • Synthesize external and internal data along with team feedback to develop coherent roadmaps and test plans for growing player audience
  • Build and expand relationships with external partners, publishers and traffic sources
  • Manage ongoing optimization of the acquisition funnel including A/B and multivariate testing
  • Work effectively across multiple internal teams (product, creative, engineering, etc) to deliver successful end-to-end campaign definition, development and execution
  • Measure campaign effectiveness, return on marketing spend, performance and campaign ROI

Requirements:

  • Use acquisition marketing experience in a high-tech/internet company
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of increasing user acquisition, engagement and retention that meet/exceed revenue and profitability goals
  • Analytical and data-focused with experience in mobile analytics, optimization and A/B testing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and drive solutions to complex challenges
  • Proactive, energetic self-stare who thrives on getting things done
  • Exceptional communications skills: written, verbal and presentational
