Our client is an iconic women’s fashion brand and they are currently seeking a Social Media Coordinator. He or she will be responsible for implementing the day to day strategy and management of all things social media. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the digital space and is looking to further their career in social media at a billion dollar retail company. The successful candidate will be responsible managing the social calendar, will remained immersed in all emerging technologies and social media platforms, support leadership with mobile initiatives and manage the brands presence through all relevant digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social calendar that is distributed weekly to key partners
  • Remain immersed in all emerging technologies/media and competitive landscape to determine hot new trends and what is scalable for business
  • Manage internal and external teams to deploy programs
  • Responsible for day-to-day communication with vendors
  • Responsible for brand presence on all social media venues including (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+
  • Work closely with Assistant Manager to develop strategy and lead implementation on all social initiatives that support key marketing objectives
  • Support Assistant Manager on mobile initiatives
  • Monitor all venues to ensure consistent communication with the brands audience
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness through analysis and make recommendations for future campaigns to optimize resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years working in a digital/social media capacity, prior fashion or retail experience preferred
  • Should have an interest in social media and keep active profiles on large social media platforms
  • Strong organizational and analytics skills
  • Exceptional time management skills with ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track and on budget
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-pace deadline oriented environment
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs (especially Excel)
  • Experience with Photoshop and/or HTML/CSS preferred but not required
