Our client is one of the nation’s leading destinations for online ordering. The company has experienced a tremendous amount of growth since its launch and currently has over 1 million users. Due to their rapid expansion, they are looking to hire a Social Media and Digital Marketing Associate. The successful candidate should be a quick-learner, with a strong interest in marketing in an entrepreneurial and nimble environment. He or she will focus primarily on leading the social media marketing efforts and will also support various aspects of their email marketing efforts as well. Reporting into the Email and Social Media Marketing Manager, this individual will play a major role in the growth and development of these high-impact digital channels through the creation and sharing of engaging content. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative candidate who lives and breathes Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and is equally excited about leveraging analytics to develop and execute best-in-class social media and email marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain an organized social media marketing calendar
  • Coordinate with channel marketing managers to ensure campaign consistency across relevant channels including email and both digital and offline acquisition efforts
  • Work with the company’s graphic designer to manage the creative process of social media content creation
  • Coordinate internally with the product and technology teams to develop any required site or app UX / UI to support social media campaigns
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends and best practices, including keeping a keen eye on competitor strategy and tactics
  • Maintain reporting for campaigns and tests across the company’s range of social media channels
  • Contribute to email marketing efforts with select tactical support needs
  • Execute ad hoc marketing team requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year (or equivalent internship) experience in marketing for a high-growth business in the technology industry or other related experience
  • A savvy user of social media and an early adopter of new social media platforms
  • Strong and proven quantitative analytic skills
  • Understanding of social media marketing best practices and success factors
  • Ability to juggle and coordinate multiple projects with varying timelines simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze proven communication and organizational skills with a focus on teamwork, project management, and follow-up
  • Familiarity with our client’s web platform and a passion for technology start-up businesses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Photoshop experience a plus
  • Outstanding and proven communication and organizational skills with a focus on teamwork, project management and follow-up is required
  • Ability to analyze a range of data and synthesize findings into clear trends and actionable recommendations
