Our Client is a global social media platform located in San Francisco that serves to showcase a wide array of user-generated content. The company currently seeks a motivated Social Media Manager to join their team. This individual would be instrumental in broadcasting the company’s brand voice, amplifying key campaigns, and showcasing the diversity and compelling nature of its content to 100 million+ fans and followers on a daily basis across all social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Support endeavors lead by the global social media team and the greater organization.
  • Consistently grow engagement on social channels using an arsenal of data, your keen instinct of trends and web culture, and all of the social media expertise that you bring to the Internet.
  • Deploy campaign strategies across social channels, working with key agency partners to test, learn and optimize in real time.
  • Manage the editorial calendar and work with key stakeholders to feature the best, most compelling content on our social channels on a day-to-day basis.
  • Proactively engage with top influencers and the general community.
  • Manage social data and occasionally pull ad hoc reports for the social media team.
  • Act as liaison for inbound social media requests, occasionally writing social copy for house promotions.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of previous social media or community managing experience for a brand or agency.
  • B.S. or B.A: Preferably in a PR, Marketing or Communications related field.
  • Advanced in using social media publishing, analytics and community management tools.
  • Individual must possess the innate ability to execute social media plans and strategies in creative ways that will “surprise and delight” social communities.
  • Skillful at coordinating campaign materials and posts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be aware of web culture and trends, and love talking about it with other passionate people.
  • Must be both diligent and creative about proactively engaging with top influencers on social channels.
  • Possess undeniable brainstorming and troop-wrangling abilities.
  • B.S. or B.A: Preferably in a PR, Marketing or Communications related field.
  • Advanced in using social media publishing, analytics and community management tools.
