Senior Manager/Director of CRM and Loyalty – Women’s Fashion Specialty Retailer

Our client is a specialty retailer in women’s fashion and we are partnering with them to find a Senior Manager/Director of CRM and Loyalty. He or she will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and initiatives that will drive an increase in sales in credit and partnership programs for this New York based retailer. The person will oversee all marketing programs for the card program with a focus on increasing the number of customers enrolled, as well as retaining existing customers. The individual will also oversee all financials and analysis of programs to drive continued growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend innovative credit acquisition plans that expand cardholder base, improve retention, enhance market share and increase program profitability
  • Design program and benefit enhancements to drive customer acquisition and loyalty
  • Develop integrated marketing strategies for the company credit card covering in-store marketing, direct mail, email, digital, social, text, and statement communications
  • Create in-store marketing and prospecting materials to acquire new cardholders
  • Prepare segmented communication strategies to retain, increase card usage and build loyalty among existing cardholders
  • Motivate stores in support of credit marketing programs and ensure consistent training and communication of field management and all store associates
  • Be day-to-day manager of our relationship with their credit provider
  • Oversee and manage technical enhancements to the loyalty program in partnership with IT, database and credit card provider. Build business cases for enhancements and ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Provide top level findings and recommend strategies from these analyses. Assist in the development of quarterly credit hindsight
  • Develop data driven credit programs and provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of customer data
  • Oversee design and distribution of all supporting credit marketing communications
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and monitor developments within credit industry
  • Identify third parties for brand right partnership efforts with the focus of driving new customers to the brand. Manage and oversee the execution and analysis for these partnership efforts
  • Assist in various ad hoc credit analyse
  • Manage budget for all aspects of credit marketing programs

Requirements:

  • Seven plus years of CRM experience in loyalty, private label, or co-brand credit card marketing
  • Credit card program development experience is preferred
  • Experience in creating and planning marketing offers and campaigns
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills
  • Technical skill proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Technical skill proficiency in Microstrategy, a plus
  • Experience in a retail environment would be a plus – especially in working with stores
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with concentration in Marketing, preferred. Advanced degree, MBA, a plus
