Senior Manager, Global Marketing – Entrepreneurial Cosmetics Brand

Our client is a socially influential beauty brand with a younger demographic, and their products are sold in Sephora and other retailers globally, as well as via ecommerce. The brand is currently seeking an experienced and driven global marketing leader with a self-starter attitude, proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a rapid-growth environment. He or she should also possess the natural ability to react quickly to market trends yet stays true to brand codes.


  • Develop global marketing calendar, strategies for new product launches and existing products to ensure brand growth in sales and market share
  • Work to create a comprehensive brand plan to include: strategy, tactics, reporting measures and specific objectives
  • Full ownership on presentation decks for internal and external usage
  • Liaise with digital team to collaborate on social calendar to ensure all marketing initiative are spoken to in the right way and at the right time
  • Manage category initiatives: drive the category by working with cross functional teams (product development, creative, operations and finance), progress and track the development of all product initiatives and ensure timely launch within cost/margin objectives
  • Work closely with retail marketing team to analyze retail performance of marketing initiatives, competitive activity and market trends to identify sales opportunities
  • Assist and collaborate to create 360 product launch strategies with strong emphasis on brand messages, visuals, social media and content for campaigns
  • Assist budget tracking for all marketing functions including creative, product development, digital and brand marketing
  • Strategize and oversee product assortment
  • Build competitive research analysis across all product forms
  • Identify new product and program opportunities with product development to drive key categories and capitalize on new trends while staying on brand
  • Responsible for updating team on any changes to launch calendar weekly
  • Execution of and tracking ongoing and seasonal programs and marketing initiatives
  • Gate keeper of brand DNA, ensure consistent brand voice across all consumer touchpoints


  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ global marketing experience in the beauty industry
  • Must have strong leadership skills, naturally dynamic, flexible, positive attitude with the ability to cultivate a team spirit
  • Self-starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills; organization, prioritization, and analytic skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage complexity
  • Strategic, analytical, and quantitative skills

  • Brand-building skills with ability to successfully launch and execute innovative marketing programs
  • Experience and/or knowledge in emerging digital/social media platforms
