Our client is a creative design and branding firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles. The firm represents a range of leading consumer packaged goods, food and beverage and alcohol clients. They pride themselves on creating a collaborative environment not only within the agency but with their clients as well. They are actively seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their team in New York and oversee all aspects of creative projects using planning, monitoring, budgeting and client communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Plan projects in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost and material specifications for a variety of clients
- Schedule tasks, deadlines and milestones for all stakeholders and resources
- Coordinate designers, copywriters, freelancers, service vendors and clients
- Coordinate communication between internal staff and outside vendors
- Evaluate deliverables prepared by the team to make sure the work meets client requirements and maintains a high level of quality
- Develop detailed project outlines (written and graphical) of production processes
- Develop project proposals for new client work
- Present work to the client at milestones throughout the production process
- Ensure client expectations of service and product quality are met and exceeded
- Manage all aspects of the billing process from creating and submitting invoices to managing vendor billing on behalf of the client
Requirements:
- Around five years of account management experience is required
- Prior design and branding agency experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to think in the 360 and be nimble throughout the project process in order to meet and exceed client expectations
- Ability to effectively manage the entire creative process of a project
- Working proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MacMail, Adobe Creative Suite and custom scheduling and accounting programs
