Our client is a boutique PR agency that specializes in media relations within the luxury hotel industry. The agency is seeking a motivated PR candidate to work on some fantastic luxury, travel and hotel accounts. This is a great opportunity for an articulate, knowledgeable, well presented, and natural leader. Experience within the luxury category is a plus, but more importantly the candidate should have a good understanding of the travel and hotel market. He or she should be able to multitask with ease as well as possess relevant contacts within the media. He or she should be a self-starter, who is looking to further expand their career in PR.He or she should have innovative thinking capabilities and possess the ability to thrive in a creative and entrepreneurial environment. He or she will be also be responsible for helping to develop strategic public relations plans and media relations strategies.


  • Participate daily in client management while enforcing positive communication
  • Deliver big and consistent media placements – thinks creatively to come up with media angles and hooks
  • Successfully manage junior staff members within the agency through coaching, mentoring and motivating
  • Engage in communication with media contacts
  • Create press materials
  • Support new business research and agency marketing content development as needed
  • Generate and execute media placements across multiple mediums, i.e. broadcast, print (long-lead and short-lead) and online


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3 years’ of PR agency experience in the travel, hotel or luxury industries
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/accounts is necessary
  • Knowledge and personal love of travel, a definite plus
  • Ability to garner media placements/coverage
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-energy environment
  • Should be proficient in Powerpoint, Excel and Word
