Our client is a digital media platform headquartered in New York City. They are currently seeking a passionate and seasoned Sales Director to drive revenue growth and expand market share through strategic sales initiatives. The Sales Director will be responsible for cultivating existing client relationships and utilizing industry expertise to create demand. Additionally, the Sales Director will leverage his/her personal network to actively identify new sales leads. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, digital media sales executive looking to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial start-up environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a tactical plan to exceed company revenue goals and manage all phases of the sales lifecycle from developing leads to contract close
  • Direct all sales activities for each relevant territory
  • Cultivate key existing client relationships as well as actively grow client base through strategic networking
  • Actively monitor current digital media landscape and shifts and implement tactical plans to integrate solutions where needed
  • Optimize revenue across verticals through collaboration with internal teams

Requirements:

  • 6 + years of outbound sales experience within the digital media landscape
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of past and current media marketplace
  • Must have excellent sales skills with a demonstrated track record in creating and fostering successful client relationships
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue and market share goals
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work across inter-company groups
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
