Our client is an iconic American fashion and lifestyle brand with an international presence. They are currently seeking a hands-on, passionate and driven Regional Director of Stores to lead a team of 8-12 District Managers in the New York City area.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate priorities to team in order to maximize sales
- Recruit and hire top sales talent
- Formally & informally train staff to maximize their performance and develop them to fulfill their potential
- Inspire & motivate your sales teams to excel in their positions
- Promote qualified top performers to meet both their career aspirations and the needs of the business
- Optimize store schedules to maximize sales and use the schedule as a meaningful contributor to maximize employee experience
- Optimize all aspects of floor management ( cash desk, sales floor, fitting rooms) for all stores within the region
- Utilize all processes and systems to effectively maximize the efficiency of your business and enhance the overall shopping experience for each customer
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of management experience within a mult-unit fashion apparel environment
- Demonstrated leadership ability and proven management experience
- Excellent communication, decision making and problem solving skills
- Must be able to prioritize effectively and plan work to meet deadlines.
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to unexpected or different work schedules.
- Overall passion/interest in the fashion and apparel industries
