Our client is a leading PR, social media, and marketing firm. They are actively seeking a driven Senior Account Supervisor for their New York based office, to manage multiple healthcare accounts. In this role, the candidate will create compelling PR and social media strategies, provide sound leadership to staff members, target new business opportunities, and develop/execute impactful media campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining solid Media Relations with Key Regional and Online Media as well as target National outlets
- Planning and co-managing the execution of impactful media campaigns
- Planning and managing outstanding media events and product launches
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff members
- Managing all priorities and expectations that come with multiple beauty accounts
- Assisting with all client needs and the completion of media deadlines
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of strong media and PR experience
- Candidate should have a strong passion for and an in-depth knowledge of the Heathcare industry
- Candidate must hold a concrete list of contacts with the top healthcare based media outlets,
- Candidate must possess an outstanding placement portfolio
Candidate should have a genuine “go getter” attitude and be prepared to take on major responsibilities - Candidate should also have the ability to create innovative and impacting pitches on a daily basis
- Extremely well-organized
- Strong writing skills
- Candidate should be both strategic and creative in their thinking
