Our client is an independently owned, luxury tequila producer with an immense passion for crafting exceptional tequila. They strive for outstanding quality by hand crafting and numbering each individual bottle making them a producer of the highest quality tequila on the market. As a result, everything they do oozes luxury and innovation.

They are looking for an entrepreneurial PR and Events Manager who is passionate and very well connected in the luxury market. He or she will be at the forefront of all events and in doing so will be a tangible representation of their brand. Given the lean team within marketing, he or she will really have the opportunity to act independently and shine in a leadership position. Please note, that while this is public relations position, this person will not be responsible for pitching the media as the brand has several agencies in place for media support. That said, the successful candidate should have a solid rolodex of contacts within the luxury world and should be in touch with the necessary press, editors and influencers.


  • Develop and implement innovative and effective PR and event plans for the United States
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plans while also managing multiple PR agencies, including AOR, BeccaPR, and local agencies
  • Implement national and local PR plans and budgets while coordinating all US events in multiple markets
  • Develop and manage brand partnerships including culinary, celebrity, fashion, contemporary art, and business
  • Build relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners
  • Train event staff on brand protocol to ensure consistency
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications
  • Work with agency to create and update press kits
  • Coordinate and support all social media activities at events, and otherwise
  • Participate in brand planning process and ensure that all PR and events initiatives are consistent with the brand identity
  • Support the Executive Team with Investor, Distributor and Board presentations
  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Report to marketing and sales teams on key initiatives and results


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Public Relations and event management experience within the luxury industry is essential
  • Proven track record in managing digital and social media marketing
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, multi-tasker with exception verbal and written skills
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to work well under pressure and problem solve
  • Excellent team player
  • Highly skilled in internal and external presentation development
  • Experience in both the US and Mexican markets a plus
