Our client is an American brand management company that licenses brands to retailers and manufacturers in the apparel, footwear, and apparel accessory industries. The company is on an ambitious growth plan and is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their marketing team.   • Provide expertise in creating and developing brand strategies including talent options, creative direction, and marketing strategies for the company’s portfolio of women’s brands
  • Guide the direction of both short and/or long-term business/brand/marketing plans identifying business objectives, strategies, positioning, key initiatives and performance measurements
  • Serve as brand champion and project manager for specified campaigns and marketing activations
  • Liaison with retail partners marketing teams to ensure programs come to life with partners
  • Oversee content refreshes, key marketing concepts, and product deliveries in trend formats
  • Prepare post-mortem recaps from campaigns and events
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Partner with other marketing managers, public relations team, online team and art directors in the development of both creative and tactical marketing executions that build brand equity, excitement, disruption and awareness for brand portfolio
  • Ability to negotiate with external vendors from online to entertainment industries to create partnerships that will benefit our portfolio of brands
  • Create marketing ideas that will garner press and create excitement for brand with consumers and at retail


  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience working on/with fashion and lifestyle brands
  • Results oriented and creative; possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial personality, self-starter and thinker
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends and capable of providing innovative, relevant ideas
  • Has an awareness of marketing strategies for similar brands
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Pulse on pop culture, people and places
