Our client is an LA based fashion brand. They are looking to hire a seasoned E-commerce and Digital Marketing Manager who will help to oversee their growing e-commerce business. He or she will be responsible for driving online sales for the company while simultaneously managing all social media and digital marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can effectively balance new customer acquisition programs with retention initiative. Given the company’s lean and entrepreneurial team environment, great long-term growth potential exists for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the ownership and execution of the company’s e-commerce business line and the creation, planning and execution of all digital marketing strategies to drive e-commerce sales
- Work with in-house team and external vendor teams in order to achieve plan and brand goals
- Responsible for achieving topside sales plans, conversion goals, usability performance targets and corporate objectives
- Manage overall customer experience through site functionality and social media
- Create and manage all aspects of new customer loyalty program from pre-launch through launch and ongoing
- Responsible for updating and maintaining e-commerce product catalog and life cycle while ensuring timely and accurate deployment of new products and product updates
- Responsible for placing e-commerce buys each season, while identifying high sell-through products and slow sellers by analyzing e-commerce reports and adjusting future plans and strategies accordingly
- Monitor and ensure the e-commerce systems for quality assurance
- Create all content for social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and company blog
- Work closely with PR and sales teams to optimize offline advertising and partner relationships in order to drive online awareness and increase opt-ins and revenue
- Coordinate and release email blasts on a bi-weekly basis
- Work with press and stylist on sample and image requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and relevant digital marketing and e-commerce experience
- Creative and analytical way of thinking with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Understanding of the retail e-commerce landscape
- Prior experience with Magento is preferred but not essential
- SOLID SEM, SEO, Google Analytics IS required
- Expertise in planning, executing, and managing multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written skills as well as organizational and time management required
- Must have the ability to translate brand vision to the online channel and execute strategies that lead the company consistently toward that vision
