Our client is a globally renowned creative design and branding firm with a diverse roster of clients and an impeccable creative reputation. During a very exciting time, they seek a Director of Business Development to spearhead growth. In this role, the candidate will partner with senior management to position the firm and its vast offerings in a strategically smart and appealing manner, identify and target appropriate and interesting new leads, and orchestrate effective pitches which will hopefully result in wins.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of new business success, and a minimum of ten years in a business development/strategic leadership role in a design and branding environment. This candidate must have a deep understanding of branding and strategy as well as the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire those around them. The role will report into the Managing Director and Global Head of New Business. While a strong business development background is required, the ideal candidate will not be a “salesy” type but rather strategic, thoughtful and smart in his or her approach.
