Our client is a New York based boutique creative and branding agency that provides creative direction, brand positioning, film, book design, packaging, corporate identity and digital development for fashion, luxury and retail clients. The agency is currently seeking an Account Manager to oversee advertising campaigns and other various projects. This role is client-facing, so he or she needs to be great at building relationships with clients.


  • Reporting to the Managing Director and managing both small and large-scale projects, the Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring all project work is signed off by the Creative Director
  • Assessing terms of client contracts, including services offered by the agency, duties to be performed, fees, usage rights, length of campaign, deliverables and billing
  • Responsible for optioning photographers, models, hair and make-up artists in addition to other crew
  • Estimating, negotiating and approving individual line items of all photoshoot budgets including but not limited to artists’ fees, location costs and retouching rates
  • Overseeing the smooth running of all clients’ needs and requests
  • Supporting and encouraging team members to maximize productivity as well as ensuring that projects stay within timescales and budget
  • Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency
  • Engaging with creative teams to understand their progress with tasks
  • Liaising with clients and members of the creative team to keep projects running smoothly


  • A minimum of two years of account management experience in a creative environment working with fashion and/or luxury clients is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed
  • Existing relationships and knowledge of the relevant photographers, models and artist agencies in the industry are essential
  • The ability to meet deadlines with keen organizational skills is required
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work is essential
  • The confidence to drive a team in order to get the best results for a project is needed, as is the ability to make astute decisions and fulfilling client requirements on time and on budget
