Our client is a leading mid-sized global public relations agency that is industry-recognized for its work in consumer lifestyle marketing and social media, corporate communications, public affairs, consumer technology, and visual branding. The agency is looking for a Senior Account Executive to manage several elite financial accounts. The successful candidate will be a motivated, results-focused candidate with exceptional media skills and contacts, strategic writing skills, creative thinking abilities, and a solid understanding for financial communications. Prior public relations agency experience with corporate communications is required. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review activity reports and status reports for clients
- Conduct high quality research and analysis on tight deadlines
- Assist with content strategy planning
- Understand and be able to assist in the development of financial service campaign
- Support new business research and agency marketing content development as needed
- Draft visibility, content and conversation audits
- Keep account team abreast of timelines and deadlines
- Manage day-to-day client contact and account maintenance, high level media relations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services and or related fields
- Strong research, writing and editing skills
- Demonstrate advanced writing skills and excellent financial acumen and subject matter expertise across the financial services landscape
- Deep understanding of the role that financial services plays in a client’s communications mix
- Exhibit effective project management skills
- Solid grasp of all basic public relations tools, and how they affect clients
- Basic knowledge of website structure, technology platforms, and social networks
- Desire to work hard and be a productive member of a fun and close-knit team
