Our client is a creative, independently owned advertising agency that creates innovative and integrated work for exceptional brands. They are looking to hire a Senior Account Director to lead a large newly won piece of business. Reporting to the CEO, he or she will be responsible delivering fresh and innovative campaigns, facilitating and contributing to strategic concepts and budgets for this large account.

Responsibilities

  • Developing marketing plans and communication solutions to achieve client objectives
  • Sell in creative and marketing solutions and present creative work to clients
  • Initiate new ideas and concepts that will assist in achieving client objectives and new business prospects and opportunities
  • Negotiate with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns and budgets while monitoring the profitability of accounts
  • Become an expert in the nature of clients’ products, business culture and competition and understanding the possibility of changes to these;
  • Arranging and attending meetings and reporting on key decisions that relate to clients’ business needs

    Requirements

  • 10 + years of account management experience managing large, major accounts
  • Highly competent, strategic and smart
  • Excellent communications skills (both verbally and written)
  • Must be strategic and passionate about delivering best creative campaigns
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Ability to manage timelines, especially under tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage a wide variety of tasks at one time is a must with a strong emphasis on leadership
