Our client is an online editorial platform headquartered in New York City. They are currently seeking a Ruby Engineer to join their dynamic team of developers and designers. The Ruby Engineer will assist in the implementation strategy for new features and refine existing code and architecture to be delivered through various platforms such as tablet, mobile and the web. The ideal candidate is well rounded with an understanding of all aspects of development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop well-documented code and build sophisticated, user friendly features and applications
- Build, evolve and scale key features
- Database management and architecture
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of professional Ruby on Rails experience
- MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Highly Motivated, Self-driven with problem solving skills
- Strong communication / interpersonal skills.
