Leadership Strategy Role – International Strategy and Consulting Firm

Our client is a global strategy and consulting firm and is looking to add a senior member to their strategy team. The successful individual should be able to work with and oversee a cross-disciplinary team, with the ability to advise on the work from upstream to downstream deliverables. This includes guiding their current Directors and juniors into new territories and helping them grow. Additionally you should be able to quickly assess business and brand challenges and offer program options for solving them.


  • Play a leadership role to expand the company’s strategy practice and product offerings
  • Own 2-3 major client relationships and act as the client lead and primary driver of growth in the relationship
  • Manage team within strategy, including coaching and mentoring assigned staff to insure meaningful experiences, personal growth, improvement in intellectual capital and constructive feedback
  • Engage in value-added dialog on engagement topics
  • Take a lead role in development of clients’ brand strategies, identifying opportunities for clients to grow brand value
  • Develop trust-based relationships with day-to-day client contacts
  • Engage in broad based branding dialog and become senior client’s trusted counselor and in so doing identify further opportunities for company to provide meaningful client value
  • Inspire team to deliver highest quality work product in a timely and personally satisfying manner
  • Captain team and ensures that work is produced efficiently, effectively
  • Contribute toward growing the business within teams and with new business pitches
  • Produce and integrate highest quality end-product
  • Develop and monitor metrics of “success”


  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a brand strategy/architecture role
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience leading a group of professionals
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle large complex projects
  • Expert level understanding of branding, business processes and strategic planning
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail
  • Must be a leader and team player and have the ability to work with people in all levels of the at the client and at the company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong storytelling capabilities
  • Strong client leadership skills – can connect with clients and inspire their confidence and ongoing commitment
  • Ability to build relationships and organize communities that bring ideas to life
  • Passionate about having measurable impact on clients business
