Our client has built a revolutionary social site that creates a royalty stream for any content creator. It allows all users to benefit from their content and has been enthusiastically received by both regular users and some of the most influential content creators and managers in Hollywood. The company has already received significant funding and are seeking an experienced cloud system administrator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor and maintain the cloud for the site.
Requirements:
- Total mastery of large, high-performance, fault-tolerant cloud (AWS or similar) clusters including deploying, administering, profiling, and tuning Linux, Apache, Rails, Postgres, Redis, and Hadoop or Cassandra.
- Experience with load and performance testing.
- Solid scripting skills.
