Our client is an independently owned design and branding firm, very well known for its strength in packaging design but now offering a full range of branding services. They seek an extremely driven and eager Business Development Manager. This role is outreach focused, and the candidate will partner with a VP of Business Development to help win new business. There will be a great amount of research—industry, category, and competitive, and this candidate will help with the RFP and RFI process. This candidate will also make a lot of cold calls and must be prepared to speak with high level players on the client side.
The ideal candidate will possess 1 year of business development related experience, ideally in a design and branding environment. Advertising agency candidates who have played a business development function and are interested in the design and branding world can also apply. The most important criteria is personality- the candidate must be hungry, articulate, and extremely motivated to learn, grow, and play a critical support role.
